The Light Movable Anvil Plate Vise is a cast-iron bench vise whose movable anvil plate swings work into the best angle for filing, trimming and finish work. Compact and accurate, it is the go-to choice for garage benches, craft tables and light metalwork stations.

Construction and materials

Cast in grey cast iron (HT200), the body is CNC-machined for a precise slide fit. Hardened jaws at 58–62 HRC deliver even pressure along the clamping face, and the movable anvil plate pivots the workpiece to the optimal angle for filing, fitting and finishing — without unclamping. A smooth ACME screw keeps every clamping force reading within spec.

Tested like every Stavalk vise

Each unit is checked for clamping force, swivel torque, jaw hardness and 10,000+ cycle durability, then finished with a 48-hour salt-spray corrosion test. Batch test logs are kept with full ERP traceability and shipped with the batch documentation.
