Bench Vise Warranty & After-Sales Support

This Limited Warranty applies to new Stavalk bench vises purchased directly from Stavalk or from an authorized Stavalk dealer or distributor. The effective date is the verifiable date of original purchase.

What Is Covered

Body Structure (2 Years Domestic / 1 Year Commercial)

Stavalk warrants the bench vise body structure — including the HT200/HT250 gray cast iron body, 45# forged steel spindle and slide channel — against structural failure due to defects in materials or workmanship.

Jaw Faces & Hardened Inserts

Hardened GCr15/Cr12MoV jaw faces (58–62 HRC) are warranted against manufacturing defects that cause premature cracking or excessive wear under normal use.

Swivel Base & Anvil

The 360° swivel base mechanism and anvil back are warranted against defects in materials or workmanship that impair normal function.

What Is Not Covered

• Cosmetic flaws including discoloration, staining, fading, or any alteration in appearance
• Damage from impact, overloading, dropping, or physical abuse
• Damage from use of the anvil for heavy forging or striking beyond its rated capacity
• Cracking, chipping, scuffing, or deterioration from friction or contact
• Corrosion from prolonged exposure to moisture, chemicals, fuels, or solvents
• Damage from negligence, improper use, abuse, accident, or normal wear and tear
• Modification, disassembly, or repair by unauthorized parties
• Third-party equipment, components, or systems (covered by their respective manufacturers)

Manufacturer's Obligation & Remedy

Stavalk's sole and exclusive obligation is the repair, or at our option the replacement of parts or replacement of units, of any component determined to be defective in materials or workmanship and covered under this warranty, following our inspection of the returned product. Components replaced or repaired are warranted only for the unexpired portion of the original warranty period. All warranties are FOB Stavalk's factory in Qingdao, China; the buyer bears shipping and handling costs for submission and return.

Conditions of Warranty

• Registration: The product must be properly registered as mandated in the warranty terms.
• Maintenance: The product must be maintained in accordance with Stavalk's published guidelines, including regular lubrication of the screw thread and slide channel.
• Cooperation: The purchaser must fully and promptly cooperate with Stavalk in all matters pertaining to warranty claims.
• Original Purchaser: This warranty is extended exclusively to the original end-user purchaser and is not transferable.

Commercial Use

If the product is used for commercial, industrial, professional, rental, or any purpose other than domestic hobby use, the warranty period for all components is one (1) year from the original date of purchase.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

Contact Stavalk or your authorized dealer with proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue. Stavalk will review the claim and provide instructions for inspection and service.

Third-Party Items

Equipment, components, or systems manufactured by third parties (even if installed by Stavalk) are covered exclusively by any warranty offered by their respective manufacturer. Stavalk expressly disclaims any warranty responsibility for such third-party items.
